What is leadership in Risk Management?
Leadership in Risk Management can be defined as the process of interaction between leaders and followers, through which leaders can exert their influence on followers to achieve organisational goals.
What do we mean by engagement?
Engagement in the workplace is critical for success in risk management. Engagement requires the right conditions for all members of an organisation so as to:
- Give their best each day.
- Provide their commitment to the organisation’s goals and values
- Be motivated to drive organisational success
- Achieve an enhanced sense of their own well-being.
Why is Training important?
Training is a process that aims to provide your workforce with knowledge and skills to perform their tasks safely. This facilitates and supports risk management.
Progress can only be made if progress is measured and without clear Key Performance Indicators (KPI), risk management has a meaningless baseline. KPI should be Leading and Lagging to make it multi-dimensional.
