Realistic & Sustainable Approach For
Dynamic Safety Leadership
What is safety leadership and why dynamic?
Safety leadership can be defined as the process of interaction between leaders and followers, through which leaders can exert their influence on followers to achieve organisational safety goals. When we say dynamic, we mean “walk the talk”.
What do we mean by workforce engagement?
Workforce (or employee) engagement is a workplace approach resulting in the right conditions for all members of an organisation to:
- Give their best each day.
- Provide their commitment to the organisation’s goals and values
- Be motivated to drive organisational success
- Achieve an enhanced sense of their own well-being.
Why is Safety Training important?
Workplace safety training is a process that aims to provide your workforce with knowledge and skills to perform their work in a way that is safe for them and their co-workers.
Why measure safety performance?
Progress can only be made if progress is measured and without clear Key Performance Indicators (KPI), safety improvement has a meaningless baseline. KPI should be Leading and Lagging to make it multi-dimensional.
